A Bump is A Bump

What's with these new norms?
Knuckle knocking.
Back of hand slapping.
Feet inter-locking.
And now..elbow bumping!
A year and a half into the pandemic we were told to embrace the new normal. Social (later changed to a more appropriate..physical) distancing. Wearing the mask. Being single not accepted anymore. Double more likely (pun intended). Finally, frequent hand-washing. Now that's something. Been doing it way before Covid-19 set foot on earth. Call me OCD* if you fancy. That's me no denying.
A year and a half into this so-called new life, we also seem to have learnt (and still learning) new things. Vaccine. Herd immunity. Swab test. Quarantine..many more. But above all we learnt to be compassionate. Humanity rising above in the face of adversity.
Ironically, there are also other new things worth mentioning. Such as the universal greeting during these trying times.
So..what do you do the next time you bump into your friend?
Kick-boxing? Maybe..
